I live in a pretty small town.
There are not many options for dining out. However, there are a disproportionate number of burger joints. Since the ambiance and price ranges greatly, I made a chart as a service to the local Facebook group. I chose to only include small businesses and arranged the burgers in order of price. This is intentionally NOT a review piece, just pure information. Viewers can draw their own conclusions and make their own choices.

I picked the most basic burger from each restaruant and if there were multiple choices, I picked the least expensive.

The piece went viral. Within hours, it racked up 363 likes and 231 comments. The discussion over which burgers ranked best and a certain burger's price were especially juicy. One of the restaurant owners mentioned even made a comment thanking me. A few commenters said they were going to eat out at some of the restaurants as they weren't aware of them until reading the infographic, even in this small desert town.

So it was a hit! It seems the topic of burgers really strikes a nerve and makes people want to chat. The funny thing is... I don't even eat burgers. I'm vegetarian.

CHART TYPE: Exploded View Comparison

A week later, I posted the taco graphic below and it was well-received. Both graphics were made using data from Yelp as well as a few in-person restaurant experiences. I always like going out in the field to do, ahem, research.
