Not all UN member states recognize other states. This group encompasses a surprisingly large number of countries, seemingly undermining the premise of "united nations."
Some countries, like North Korea and South Korea mutually do not recognize each other. I found that a chord graph, which shows relationships, was the perfect chart to visually express the overlapping relationships.
